At this stage we will only be booking in learners with upcoming tests as we need to clear our backlog π
We will resume other lessons as soon as possible π§
We also aim to minimise the risk of transmission, in particular to year 11 and 12 students with upcoming exams π· including our youngest

If your test has already been cancelled or you have an upcoming test, it would be worthwhile making the attempt to apply for hardship reasons
Please note that if you qualify for a hardship test and the test is during lockdown, you are now permitted to have a pre test driving lesson to prepare for your test π

Vic Roads suspended all drive, hazard perception and learner permit tests on 25 March 2020, due to COVID-19 Pandemic π·
All postponed bookings will be rebooked as a priority by Vic Roads
New bookings will be taken once the backlog has cleared π
Exemption Drive Tests are still going ahead until further notice and Vic Roads are continuing to issue exemptions
Note that Vic Roads are now booking most tests at the Vic Roads office closest to your home address and a new pop up is due to open in Ringwood soon π¦

As of 11.59pm 27/10/2020 Metro Melbourne is moving to Step 3 and driving lessons will be permitted with a COVIDSafe Plan ππ
The 25km rule still applies π§

Advice from Vic
Roads is we are permitted to attend drive tests, and those with a valid Permitted Worker Permit are able to have a pre test lesson on test day π
During Step 2 in Metro Melbourne we are not permitted to drive for practice, however learners are now permitted to drive for essential reasons with a household member supervising π¦
Learners may do their test in an Instructor or Private vehicle
Vic Roads do not supply cars for the test π

As of 11.59pm 5 August 2020 we are now under Work Permit Guidelines during Stage 4 restrictions and DRIVING FOR PRACTICE IS NOT PERMITTED πππ
We have advice from DHHS, CPVV and Vic Roads, as follows:
DHHS: βCan I leave home to take a driving lesson? No. Driving for practice is not allowed.β
CPVV: βUnder Stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne, driving for practice is not a permitted reason to leave home.β
Vic Roads: βUnder Stage 4 restrictions, driving for practice is not allowed. This includes for those who have been approved for priority testing.βπ
Exemption Drive Tests are still going ahead until further notice and Vic Roads are continuing to issue exemptions.
Note that Vic Roads are now booking all tests at the Vic Roads office closest to your home address π¬

Advice from Vic Roads is we are permitted to attend drive tests only. This has not been confirmed by DHHS or CPVV.
Learners may do their test in an Instructor or Private vehicle

We now advise that we have the full go ahead for driving lessons from the CPVV and Dan Andrews
To reduce the risk, we will however only be offering lessons to learners with essential exemption drive tests and upcoming regular drive tests
We will also be limiting the number of lessons we do
Vic Roads will contact learners with postponed drive tests as a priority to new bookings
If you have been granted an exemption for a drive test or wish to resume lessons for your upcoming test, please contact us by text on 0409424436
Please be assured that we will be sanitizing our cars with alcohol wipes and offer you hand sanitizer and gloves
We will ourselves wear a mask and request our learners also supply their own mask
We have a forehead thermometer for use and would appreciate our learners using the app
Should you have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with Coronavirus, please contact us to reschedule

We regret to inform you that as of 10am this morning, Wednesday 25th March 2020, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Vic Roads have suspended all drive tests, hazards tests and learner permit tests
Vic Roads will contact everyone with an upcoming test & priority will be given for those to rebook
To reduce the risk of spreading this virus we have decided to cease all lessons immediately
It is in the best interests for all
We will keep you up to date with any news and look forward to continuing with lessons and tests when this is all over In the meantime please stay safe and take the best of care
